Dry kilns for pallets and packaging
In connection with ISPM Directive No. 15 (International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures), we also produce dry kilns in accordance with the specific requirements of the pallet-making and packaging industry.
Dutch market
We produce our dry kilns for the Dutch market, including temperature probes needed for measuring temperature inside the timber, in compliance with SMHV requirements (Foundation for Timber Packages Marking - Stichting Markering Houten Verpakkingen).
Pests
The ISPM Directive No. 15 contains, besides other information, also requirements on how to handle packages of timber, preventing the spread of live pests.
Control systems
The software used in the control system for the dry kiln, contains specific programs needed for heat treatment and enabling the printing of charts and protocols.
Operation of ISPM No. 15
The temperature in the heart of the timber must be at least kept at 56°C for at least 30 minutes during the heat treatment.
