The air in the kiln is heated and circulated by fans. The air constantly absorbs moisture from the product. When reaching a minimum temperature of 30°C and the adjusted humidity, the dehumidification process starts. The humid air will be passed through a cooling coil where it is cooled. The air cannot contain the same quantity of water as when it was warm and then therefore condensates. All condensate will be discharged.
The required electrical energy to condensate the moisture is fully converted into heat. For this reason the dry kiln maintains a constant temperature.
The compressors and fans have dual protection. The switch material is built in a water resistant control box. The compressors are cooled internally to avoid any overloading.
HB heat pump dehumidifiers are well-known for their incomparable amount of water extracting compared to the power consumption.
