Ice formation in freeze stores (around the door and evaporators) is a frequent occurring problem. The HB Group has developed a system to prevent this ice formation. This is realised by using a HB adsorption dehumidifier.

The HB adsorption dehumidifier dries the air outside the entrance of the freeze store. By doing this, less humidity will enter the freeze store when the door is opened.

Results

The result of this new application is spectacular. One of our customers, an ice-making factory in Hellendoorn (Holland) almost has no ice-formation in their store room because of the use of our adsorption dryer. This means a lot of saving in energy and production capacity.
